Jan Jarrett Smith

Class of 1962.
Interred Dec. 18 St. Margaret's Episcopal Church Charlotte, NC. Celebration of {ife January 5 2019 St. James Episcopal Church Leesburg, Florida 11:00 AM.
Jan and her husband Dr.David Smith moved recently to Ft. Mill SC to be closer to family, grandchildren. She was diagnosed with lung cancer, Stage 4 melanoma in July of this year. After a short but brutal battle with cancer Jan passed peacefully on Dec. 12th at 6 PM.

Jack E. Clanton ATHENS � Jack Edward Clanton, 71, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence. Born in Calvery, GA, he was the son of the late Carruth Newton Clanton and Frances Eva Sholar Clanton Watts. He retired from Delta Life Insurance Company as an agent. Survivors include his wife of 48 ½ years, Elizabeth Sue Harbuck Clanton; sons: Michael Duane Clanton and Eric Benjamin Clanton; brother: Robert N. Clanton; nephews: Robert Marcus (Mark) Clanton, Munray Clanton as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2PM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 10, 2010, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the University of Georgia College of Veterinarian Medicine, PDRC.
