About	Hugh Duncan Simmons, fondly known as "Bubba", succumbed to cancer in Galveston, TX, on May 29, 2013 where he planned to meet his family for a few days at the beach. He was born on September 22, 1962 at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He lived in Virginia, New Jersey, and Illinois before moving to College Station, Texas in 1970. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1980 and then attended Sam Houston State University. He worked 30 years for the Texas A&M University Computer Services Center. He retired shortly before he lost his battle with cancer. He is survived by his former wife Jackie Burns and their beloved daughters Anastasia Lorraine "Annie" and Samantha Beatrix "Sami."
