Hi my name in school was known as Arthur Sims
It was during the time they started buying us from our Black neighborhood schools to white schools
I never really saw white children my age until I believe my third grade class . But I was born in 1964 and don't know what yr exactly is 3rd grade for me
But I remember the school and a school play I was in and we were on TV because lights and cameras were everywhere I believe it was an Easter play I was in it and I remember dressing in a black vest white shirt and black pants
I know they still have this event and I would love to see it
I called the school and the lady blew me off saying they had no such thing as archives
I went online and found this feature and this is as far as I got .
I am 59 about to become 60 and would love to pull that event and show it at my 60th birthday gathering.
In April of next yr My real name is Trent V.Arthur Sims and I found this out when I finally read my own birth certificate but if I could get help with this it would mean the world to me my children and grandchildren
