I was in Mrs Reasor’s homeroom as a Senior. We were preparing for an oratorical competition. Our Principal Mr. Smiley always played music over the intercom. Mrs. Reasor became frustrated and instructed me to go to the office and tell Mr. Smiley to cut that damn music out of her class. That day I learned how to handle a sensitive message. I relayed to Mr. Smiley that we were working on public speaking in class and Mrs Reasor would certainly appreciate it if you would eliminate the music from her homeroom.
