About	Cheryl C. Ylinen Cheryl Catherine Ylinen, age 58, resident of Brainerd, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at St. Cloud Hospital. Cheryl was born in Brainerd Feb. 25, 1950, to John and Hazel (Stark) Amic. She was a 1968 graduate of Brainerd's Washington High School. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagles and First Lutheran Church where she had served as wedding coordinator. Cheryl volunteered at St. Joseph's Medical Center and was a member and past senior regent of the Women of the Moose (WOTM). Most recently, she had worked as a receptionist for Denny Hecker. Survivors include her husband, Don; sons, Randy (Connie) Ylinen, Paul (Jeannie) Roskop, Peter Roskop, Chris (Amy) Ylinen, Chad (Brooke) Ylinen, Joel (Sara) Ylinen; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; her mother, Hazel Amic; and brother, Steven Amic. She was preceded in death by her father, John; brother, Mark; and grandson, Keegan. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Andy Smith officiating. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
