Ben Wortham, who attended Brighton School from 1st grade through 12th grade, is currently the Deputy Superintendent for the School District of Clay County, located in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Mr. Wortham started out as a teacher fresh from Memphis State University... but he quickly moved from the classroom to the Principal's Office and then to the County Office where he served in a variety of capacities before he was named the District's Deputy Superintendent in 1986. Mr. Wortham is a wonderful man who is loved by everyone in the School District and across Clay County. His knowledge and dedication to helping educate our young people is second to none.
