Now that 50 years has passed since our graduation, I thought I would shake up some opinions of one of our former teachers, Ms. Ojala. She sat behind my eldest brother at GFHS. She wanted to date my brother but he wasn’t interested. She held onto that grudge until I (unknowingly) entered her Latin Class Junior year. She ejected me her class as revenge on day. I had no idea what I had done to deserve this reaction by a teacher. All this information comes from her mom contacting my parents to explain her actions. She had a crush on my brother from 1961. My brother was 9 years older than I was and died in 1963. As an educator, I can’t believe anyone would act so immature as to hold a grudge that long. The administration backed her 100%.
