I am looking for the date of the Homecoming dance in 1974. I am engaged to marry the boy who gave me my first kiss at the CCHS Homecoming dance in 1974. In 2011 I became a widow as my wonderful husband for almost 25 years lost his battle with cancer. Around that time my children urged me to join FaceBook so we can stay closer since they had moved from home. Shortly after I became FB friends with Coley Strahl and on a post about 6 months from losing my husband, I seen a post from Dan Doud. I sent him a PM and asked him if this was the boy who gave me my first kiss at the CCHS Homecoming Dance? His reply was “Sure is Darlin”. We became reacquainted friends. He was living in Arkansas at the time. We remained friends until Christmas Day 2018 when proposed. We would like to get married on the date of our first kiss. Dan never married claiming he only fell in Love one time, he just had to be patient until I came back. We are now living in South Carolina enjoying our 3 grandsons, preparing to travel after retirement. I have been very Blessed to have 2 great men who have loved me so much and enriched my life. ????
