Armando Rodriguez

Class of 1992

I need some help! I don’t remember a lot from high school. It’s probably because I am getting old (yep, y’all are too)!

There are a couple memories I have that are funny, scary and exciting but I would love to know what y’all remember about Armando.

Here’s a couple to get started:

(1) I remember leaving school one afternoon, hypes to be out and ready to get the day really stared. I was running across the grass outside the main entrance by the front office looking left and right to be sure I didn’t get run over. What I forgot to watch for was any holes in the lawn or mud spots since it had been raining. Next thing I know I was flat on my face skidding across wet grass. I was like... c’mon maaaaan!!! Wipeout!!

(2) I was in art class and setting up the most genius and creative “trick” of the day. I ran string wrapped around the fire alarm by the entrance / exit door all the way across the room under tables and feet and everything else. It was genius! Later in the class I pulled the string and the first thing the teacher said was “ARMANDO!!” I was so upset, like HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU THINK IT WAS ME! I was so sure I would get away with that one.

(3) There were plenty of days I loved and many I hated. One that I always welcomed with open arms was PIZZA DAY! Man, what was it about that pizza that had me so addicted? I mean, I did love to eat but that pizza!

Ok... I’ll share “better” stories but would love to hear what everyone else was up to.
