| About Me | Well, I am just me. I'm married to a great guy, he's a "shrink", rather comical but interesting to hear about his day........ My how a few yrs can change a profile....(AGAIN) 1st deployment to Afghan Island...My husband was in Afghanistan working as a Counselor (Critical Incident Debriefing Counselor) 2nd deployment.. he is now a Senior Mental Health Consultant now working with the State Dept and is Working w/ the International Head of the Red Cross to set up a policy & proceedure for the Medical & Mental Health Wing of the Afghan Prison System....I am so proud of him and to be his wife. Talk about putting things into perspective!!! We have three kids, Madison, who is 20 going on 30 & is now completing her clinicals to become a MORTICIAN....yes, Madison is is going to be "Morticia"!!! but so so proud of her, she just ROCKS!!! Ashlynn is 15 & Parker is 12...he is the same age as all of Us adults....go figure!!! Our daughter Madison was diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica in March 07 and that simply put things into perspective (I think God secretly likes to make sure i am paying attention) - BOTTOM LINE....you only have one life - live everyday like you want and give it your all. After all, in the end, that is all we have. The memories we make and the love that we share when we're here.
