All Class Reunion. 2016
The annual CHS all class reunion will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at the Westhervane lower level from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. Come and meet former classmates, view old photos, and have some fun. Snacks are furnished and a cash bar is available. There is no charge for the event and alumni association memberships can be purchased.

The Charlevoix Public School District will host its inaugural Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Sunday, May 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Charleovix Middle/High School. The program was developed to honor graduates who have achieved significant success in their careers and to motivate students to set high goals for their own futures.
This is our inaugural year for the Charlevoix Alumni Hall of Fame and we will be inducting the following graduates on May 22, 2016:
Scott Davis, Walter Drenth, Doug Sloan, April North, Hon. Roy C. Hayes, III, Dean Davenport, James Bowman, Oscar P. Stroud, Ian Weller, and George Haggard, Jr.
To be inducted into the CPS Alumni Hall of Fame, graduates must have achieved one or more of the following: an advanced degree; a significant life achievement, honor or award; or a significant contribution toward improving the lives of others.
“We are proud of all our graduates from Charlevoix Public Schools, and we hope to continue to honor graduates for many years to come, filling the hallway of our Charlevoix Middle/High School,” said Mike Ritter, CPS superintendent. This summer, inductees’ pictures will be added to a new Alumni Hall of Fame display in our CMHS building. We would like to invite you to join us to honor our first group of amazing Charlevoix Public Schools graduates.”
If you would like to nominate an alumnus for the 2017 ceremony, please come in to the central office for an application.
Alumni Dues
Dear Alumni. We are delighted ot provide this website as a gathering place for all CHS Alumni. Hundreds of alumni have posted their information and photos on this site. The one thing that the site cannot do is collect the CHS Alumni Association annual dues of $5.00. All of the money collected by the Alumni Association is given to special projects in the Charlevoix Public Schools. We have furnished physical education equipment, science materials, a new bike rack for the hgh school, and donated to the fundraising in 2012.
We also fund some of the All School Reunion held on the final day of the Venetian Festival. Please send your annual dues in a check made to CHS Alumni Association to, 02190 N M66,East Jordan, MI 49727. If you would like to join the alumni committee, please contact Sherrel Bergmann (class of 65) at rayderberg@aol.com.

Attention all CHS alumni. The 5th annual all school reunion will be held this year on July 27th immediately following the Venetian parade. The reception will take place from 12:30 to 3 pm at the Weathervane lower level where snacks and a cash bar will be available. Yearbooks being digitized by the Library
Doris – Funny you should ask. Last week we sent all the Rayder yearbooks we had to a digitization center. Your 1963 yearbook was included. We hope to post all the yearbooks on our website in the coming month. The friends of the Library can be thanked for funding the project.

Fourth Annual All School Reunion planned for Venetian Saturday
All CHS alumni are invited to attend the all school reunion after the Venetian street parade ( 12:30 - 3:00 pm) on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
The reunion will be held at the Weathervane (downstairs) where snacks and lemonade will be provided. A cash bar will be available and tables will be arranged by decade for easy location of classmates. Historical photos and yearbooks will also be available for viewing. While the reunion is free, alumni dues are $5.00 per year and may be paid at the reunion. The alumni dues support CHS projects.
2009 All School Reunion
There will be an all school reunion on Saturday, July 25th from 1-3 at the Weathervane (lower level). All CHS graduates are invited to attend. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided. A cash bar will be available. This is the perfect opportunity to see classmates who may be in town for the Venetian Festival.

The anticipation is not unlike that of little kids at Christmas.
Across the state, high school football teams gathered Sunday night to watch the Selection Sunday Show on FSN to find out who their next opponent would be, and where they would play, in the Michigan High School Athletic Association playoffs.
Charlevoix is back in the playoffs after a one-year hiatus and for the fifth time in school history. The Rayders were 3-4 before closing the regular season with wins over Kalkaska and Harbor Springs. They eagerly watched the show on Sunday at coach Don Jess’ house.
The Rayders are one of 19 5-4 teams statewide to make the postseason and it was a mystery as to whether they would even be in the playoffs until it was announced during the show.
“Our kids were going crazy when they saw that come up on the screen,” Jess said. “Our kids really kept the hope alive going into that last game against Harbor and got rewarded for it.
“This group, they’ve come a long way. They didn’t have a lot of success at the younger levels. It’s a big accomplishement for them and it shows their determination and not getting frustrated. They just kept getting better every year.”
Charlevoix’s reward? A 250-mile one-way trip across the Upper Peninsula to Iron Mountain, which is ranked second in the Associated Press Division 6 state poll, and making its eighth consecutive playoff appearance and the
