John D. (Don) Beeson
Class of 1957
Worked at Patrick AFB in Florida, then switched to NASA. Spacecraft Manager for Lunar Module 5 (first manned lunar landing) and subsequent Apollo Lunar Missions at Kennedy Space Center.
Awarded NASA Exceptional Service Medal for "outstanding contributions to the Apollo Program".
Later worked for a large company (PB) in several locations in the US and abroad.
Project Director for the planning and set-up of a major transportation system in Bangkok, Thailand.
Also worked in many different countries and learned to speak many languages, including Mandarin Chinese.
