What is Justin Snow known for?

Justin Snow, a former professional American football player, was born in Fort Worth, Texas, USA on December 21, 1976. He gained prominence as a long snapper in the National Football League (NFL). He is also remembered as a notable alumni of the Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas, where he displayed remarkable skills in football as an AP and Texas Sportswriters Association All-State First-team selection. As a senior, he recorded ten sacks, 70 tackles, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

After high school, Snow attended Baylor University where he was a four-year letterman in football as both a defensive end and long snapper. He finished his college career impressive with five sacks, and 189 tackles (15 tackles for loss). Moreover, he graduated with Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology.

Despite going undrafted in the 2000 NFL Draft, Snow's determination led him to sign with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent. Here, he served as the team's long snapper and a backup tight end. He played an important role in the Colts' victory in Super Bowl XLI against the Chicago Bears, which remains one of his biggest accomplishments. Snow's career with the Colts lasted twelve seasons, during which, he and kicker Mike Vanderjagt, along with holder Hunter Smith, became the first snapper, holder, and kicker trio in the league's history to go an entire season, including the playoffs, without missing a field goal or point-after attempt.

After his tenure with the Colts, Snow was a member of the Washington Redskins briefly in 2012. Snow played in 200 games during his professional career and made a total of 39 tackles.
