Class of 1979

A Class of 1979 Story

Music teacher, Mrs. Rest. The students used to give her the flux, and such was the case on this particular day. The class was in total chaos and Mrs. Rest tried to calm the class down. Finally, tired of trying to get our attention, she lifted a chair over her head and threw it across the room! That was alarming and in all truthfulness, she could've hurt somebody. That move certainly got the students' attention. The room silenced and a student said, "who do you think you are, Wonder Woman?" Wonder Woman was a popular show then. The entire room burst into laughter and it was kind of funny because on this particular day, Mrs. Rest was wearing blue slacks, a white shirt and a red blazer. Wonder Woman's iconic colors, so it was kind of funny. Subsequently the student was put out if the class. Mrs. Rest was known for that move.

The student who made the comment is in the graduating class of 1979, female and if she read this story, she might remember it, but I won't call her out. It's her choice to own it, if she wants.
