I had been in the United States for about a year when I moved to El Paso, Texas from New York.
I am fortunate to say that I had a rich, wonderful and memorable experience at Coronado High School. It felt welcoming to be there. I made a lot of friends, among them, Ruth Hernandez, Charmaine Martin, Laurie Pinon, Miles Darby, Sheila Dunn, Mary Lynn Kime, Jinine Harvey and many more. Dr. Charles Murphree was a great school principal and Mr. Saucedo, my counselor, always had an open door for me to walk in. I am very thankful to have had such a great experience at Coronado High school. Among other memories I have is being in the school musical where everyone had to audition singing the song, "My Funny Valentine", Economic cl still have my yearbook as well as the senior picture we took outside in the football field.
