The planning committee has hit a home run for our "delayed" 50 year reunion. The Cortez High School class of '71 has confirmed a date of March 26, 2022 for our reunion. The venue is confirmed, and it will be held at the (NEW) Martin Auto Museum (NW corner of 43rd Ave and Thunderbird). We couldn't be luckier to have such an amazing venue contributed by one of our classmates Drue Nixon. We will have food, drinks, a 70's band and lots of fun! The most difficult thing right now is reaching everyone. Since the past couple of years has been so difficult for people to get together, we have elected to invite the classes of '69, '70, and '72 to join us. ANY of you who see this and stay in touch with people who attended Cortez from '69-'72 please have them reach out to me at dlauchner at gmail dot com to be included. We have several people stepping up to help pay for this, so the ticket prices will be VERY affordable... approximately $30 per person, $50 per couple... for an amazing night with food, drinks and a live band. Please help me locate as many people as possible... thanks
