Dave and his brother Don, were like brothers to me while growing up on the Rogue River in Gold Hill. They lived directly across the river from my parents home and were known to cut down a tree or two, to make a raft, to paddle over to my home. Dave, Don (Patches) and Jim Kellogg (whom I kept in contact with for life) and just passed away this year in Sublimity, Oregon, were cousins and all (3) were a part of my life. Our childhoods interlinked in that little town and the memories are treasured forever. Sincerely, Nadra Moore (Golden)
