About	Kareen "Carol" Medcalf, 64, of Central Point, died Friday (July 22, 2005) at her home with her loving husband by her side. A private family gathering is planned. She was born on March 14, 1941 in Klamath Falls, to Lloyd and Florence Frey. On July 2, 1958 in San Diego, she married Bobby Medcalf who survives. Mrs. Medcalf worked for the Medford School District for over 20 years, at Hedrick Jr. High as well as other Medford schools. She loved all children, she and her husband raised their own six children and five of their grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing and gardening. A wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend whose hugs and gentle ways will never be forgotten. In addition to her husband of 47 years, Bobby, survivors include, six children; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Florence Hussy; two sisters; and one brother. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Frey, and her step-father who raised her, Jess Davis. Arrangements: Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives, Medford.
