About	Allen is pictured (first on the left) with other track athletes from CHS. Allen was my brother-in-law and a year ahead of me at Crater. Allen was most known at Crater for his athletics in football and track/field and still holds a record for hurdles at CHS. He took state in men's 400 hurdles in 1986 and later 7th in the state of California for men's 400 hurdles. He attended Idaho State College on a track scholarship. Watching video of him running is like watching a buck effortlessly jump a high fence. He loved the outdoors, skiing Mt. Ashland, his family, and is thought of often and missed greatly. He is survived by his daughter Mireya Cabron-Heineck of Mt. Shasta, CA; and wife Karen Cabron of Weed, CA. Father, Edward Heineck; brother, Steve Heineck of Newberg, OR, sisters Tracy Heineck of Lebanon, OR, and Jackie Barker of Redding, CA. ~ Renae Heineck
