About Me | Yes... <3 I'm a girl <3 I push doors that clearly say PULL <3 I laugh harder when I try to explain why I'm laughing. <3 I walk into a room and [forget] why I was there <3 I count on my fingers in math class <3 I try to accomplish things with time still on the microwave Peace, <3 , :) Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.” My past is not a memory, It is a force at my back. It pushes and steers. I may not always like where it leads me, but like any story, my past means resolution. Whats past is prologue. ♥ <3<3<3 i have come to realize that its the little things in life that mean the most. the only people you need in your life are the ones that really need you in theirs. ive learned that love isnt about finding someone you can live with, its about finding someone you cant live without. God doesnt give you people you want. He gives you the people you need to help you, to hurt you, to have you, to love you, and to make you into the person you were meant to be. ive learned lately that you cant always trust people. things arent going to go as planned. friends will be lost, and hearts will be broken. the person who you thought you could count on will let you down. but in these situations the best thing you can do is hope for the best when life lets you down. because from every bad day theres always a tomorrow. so be optimistic. live for the moments and treasure them and never have regrets. ive made mistakes in my life, ive let people take advantage of me, and i accepted way less than i deserve. but ive learned from my bad choices and even though there are some things i can never get back, ill know better next time, and i wont settle for anything less than i deserve. someday everything will all make sense. so for now ill laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, and keep rem...(read more) |
