About	Eric Lawrence Blind, age 24, of Miles City, MT passed away at his home in Billings, MT on the evening of March 6, 2009. Eric was born on September 7, 1984 in Cupar, Saskatchewan. He is the son of Greg L. Blind and Audrey Haumschild of Miles City. He attended grade school in Cupar, moving to Miles City at the age 10 and graduated from Custer County District High School in 2002. During his years in high school, Eric excelled in sports such as soccer and hockey and continued his love for hockey by coaching the Miles City Generals after his high school years. He coached his team to a win at the state championship in 2005. Following high school, he went to work for Ace Hardware until 2005 when he started his career at Sanjel in the oil field industry, working on the fract. crew. Eric loved spending time outdoors, especially while hunting and riding his motor bike, and most of all his family. Eric is survived by his father Greg L. Blind of Miles City, his mother Audrey and her husband Keith Haumschild, two brothers, Evan Blind of Miles City, and Trevor Watson of Miles City, one sister, Melissa Blind, and her husband Jeff Pfeifer of Tuscan, Arizona, his grandparents Tony and Elsie Benko of Cupar, Saskatchewan. Preceded in death by his grandparents Lawrence Blackbeard, and Irene Blind, Robert and Patsy Haumschild.
