About Me	Don't let life pass you by. Do something you love every day. You never know when you might reach the end of the road. For as long as I can remember, I have worked with animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger but didn't think I was smart enough or could handle the euthanasia part. Life moved on, I finished a degree in computers and another in equine management. I got married and had a child. In 1999, my husband and I survived a horrific car crash. I was pinned in the car and had to be cut out. I spent weeks in the hospital and months in a wheelchair. It was partly during that time that I realized that life is too short for regrets and I wishes. I also learned that I wanted to do SOMEthing to better the world for the animals that we share it with. Two years after the accident, I began to work in an emergency veterinary clinic. I loved it! That is when I knew I was supposed to be part of the veterinary community. It has been a struggle between then and now, but finally it IS my turn to become what I know I need to be...a veterinarian.
