June has three k-9s that were bred and trained here as started k-9s Search and Rescue in Nepal with Virginia task force -these folks finished them and are selfless tireless amazing folks-Pray for their safety and sucess with K-9s

Falmouth High Sweethearts
June(Thims) Cawood and Stephen this year will celebrate 50 years of marriage -No Man is an island and he that finds a wife has found a good thing(bible says so)
Strike up the band-A.K.C.has awarded the top dog award to PIERCE K-9 CADAVER K-9 OWNED BY JIM HOULK of Colorado for his great K-9 you may read about this honor and JIM in Febuary issue of Dog Fancy-June bred PIERCE as a started dog and JIM was the partner that PIERCE needed traveling to the Phillipines 3 different time to help bring closure to many familys after the terrible damage from typhon. D.I.R.T disaster international rescue team on his own time and money-June trained PIERCE in his initial stages of what is called Started K-9 and Jim finished-June also bred and started a Fema search&rescue K-9 that qualifed to work anywhere at anytime a an amazing 18 months old

Update June now has between40-50 USAR/HRD K-9s working saving victims of storms and diasters and bringing closure to departed souls of familys working with the heros of fire fighters -law enforcement - and selfess volunteers and currently has bred a QA2 field trial K-9

Phillipines
June at Maranatha kennels has now had two of her USAR and HRD K-9s over in Phillipines recovering and bringing closure on missing victims of the tragic storm.K-9s will be returning stateside in 10 days. This mission was carried out by Global D.I.R.T. and volunteers from CO.

June Elizabeth (Thims) Cawood now has some of her breeding program pups at Penn State University Vet facility where they have started to train K-9s to detect ovarian cancer even before it has been detected by medical practice

50 years ago a young man looked across the gym floor at the most beautiful young lady,he ventures across what seemed to be equal to the great divide in distance to face the most daunting conquest ever faced by young men everywhere to ask his princess to be to favor him with the first dance knowing full well the shame and fear of facing his counterparts upon rejection of his offer.Now almost 50 years later thar princess has been his queen of hearts.ans constant wonder in his life.
