About	ALEXANDER, Tina J. Portage, MI Tina passed away Friday, March 25th surrounded by her loving family. Tina was born November 11, 1962 in Lansing, MI, to DL and Rita Pettigrew. She was a 1980 graduate of Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools. She was a vivacious young woman who lived her life fully, in her own way, and positively touched the lives of her family and many friends. She worked several years at International Paper Company, now Evergreen Packaging. A brief marriage 1987-1989 resulted in the love of her life, her son, Jasen Robert Alexander of Portage who survives her. She is also survived by siblings, Dale (Robyn) Pettigrew of Galesburg, Raelene (Jack) Gray of Plainwell, and John (Sue) Pettigrew of Galesburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Tina resided in Portage with a very special man, Ron Dekema, Jr. who also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, DL Pettigrew in 1990, and mother, Rita Pettigrew in 2003. An open house gathering of family and friends to honor Tina's life will be announced at a later date. Private burial will take place at a later date.
