Lisa Gardner, born in 1972, is a celebrated American author renowned for her suspenseful thrillers. Raised in Hillsboro, Oregon, she is a notable alumni of Glencoe High School. Gardner initially embarked on her literary journey penning romantic suspense under the pseudonym Alicia Scott. Her big break arrived with the publication of her domestic thriller, 'The Perfect Husband', in 1997.
