Anne Hendricks
Class of 1990
Anne Hendricks was always seen with a book or hanging out at the GHS library with Mrs. Tiggler "back in the day!"
After completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she began teaching at the age of 23. In 2007, she passed her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification and is now the second Henry County School System librarian to be a NBCT certified teacher and the first Spalding County resident to hold the professional honor. National Board Certification for teachers is the highest honor a teacher can attain in the profession and nearly 64,000 teachers hold the honor in the United States.
Anne married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Browning (class of 1988), and has one son, Ian. Anne is the district representative of the Georgia Library Media Associaton and a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She's a Scout Den Leader too, in Pack 84, and still finds the time to read... Only now she has a whole library of her own to do it in at Luella Middle!
