About	Clifford Gary Hines FEBRUARY 28, 1940 – SEPTEMBER 6, 2017 Mr. Clifford Gary Hines, age 77 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Mr. Hines was born February 28, 1940 to Leonard Wells & Daisy Bell McGahee Hines. He was also preceded in death by his step-son, Jesse Roy Champion, Jr. Mr. Hines was a mechanic for many years with Eastern Airlines and Fed Ex and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed car shows and loved his ‘31/32 Ford A Model hot rod. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend to all that loved him. He lived his life with honesty and integrity and was an inspiration to all. Mr. Hines will be missed and his legacy will live on. Survivors include his wife, Kaye Hines; children, Sherri Hines-Dietz, Lisa & Tim Peeples and Len Champion Hines; grandchildren, Emma Dietz, Adam Hines, Kayla Peeples, Victoria Peeples and Bella Takle and brother, Larry T. Hines. Funeral services for Mr. Clifford Gary Hines will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134 in memory of Mr. Hines.
