About	Mrs. Dena Batton Cumming, 67, of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Spalding Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cumming was born on June 16, 1941, in Griffin to the late Charlie Batton and the late Shirley Howard Batton. She was a lifelong resident of Griffin. Mrs. Cumming graduated from University of Georgia and died shortly after watching the Georgia/South Carolina football game on TV, as she was a devoted fan. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, W. Barron Cumming Sr.; daughter, Beth M. Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Barron Jr. and Suzanne L. Cumming; granddaughter, Madeline Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Jan B. and Russell DeCarlo of Annandale, Va.; brother, Steve Batton; sister-in-law, Margaret C. Taylor; niece, Tammy T. Clayton; and nephew, Joey DeCarlo. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Dena Cumming will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Brian McCartney will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W.
