Kevin Orr, '86

Kevin was selected as the "distinguished alumni"over 30" by the d300 foundation for his many achievements along with his work with handicapped individuals at the Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham, AL. He has also been
an active coach of many olympic and national teams in wheelchair, rugby,
soccer and racing. One of the teams he coached is the subject of the Oscar nominated (2005) movie "Murderball".
He, along with family and friends were in Crystal Lake on 4/25/08 to accept this award.

D300 Alumni Award

We are looking for Distinguished D300 Alumni. The criteria for alumni awards is simply stated: outstanding accomplishment in one's chosen career field.

THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD is granted to a District 300 graduate or former student over the age of 30 for significant accomplishments on ones profession or service to the community.

THE DISTINGUISHED YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD is granted to D300 graduates or former students, age 30 or younger at time of nomination, for significant accomplishments or service to the community.
