Class of 1955
Just thought of an interesting bit of history.
Ron Finkbeiner, class of 1955, is the one who designed the Harper Woods symbol shown on Facebook. The HW made to look like goal post symbol. We were the first class to go from 7th grade (school brand new), thru 12th grade. First graduating class, 1952, started school when it opened in fall of 1949, and it only went up to 10th grade as I recall.
We were all so proud of our school. Before we had a high school, the HW..Gratiot Twp..students went to Southeastern High in Detroit.
