About Me | USE: jhkida AT comcast DOT net to reach me. My History, seeing I was going nowhere but downhill quick, at HHS. I dropped out in Oct 1973 and hitchhiked and rode Buses to California to see the other world. After turning 18, I used the California 18 year drop out program to enroll in Fresno City college. Where I took 099 level classes to show I could handle the basic college education. Then, with 3.1/4.0 average, I took level 100 College classes. Xfer'd back to Augusta College and took 1 quarter there in 1975. AC crowd was just too socially snooty for me. Accepted a Ga. RYDC/YDC position, YES ! I was a Prison Guard not a prisoner. There I was forced to actually get a GA issued GED despite having almost 2 years of college already -------------------------------------------- Jobs from 1974 to 1983 - Ditch digger, dishwasher, gas station operator /mgr., Prison Guard, Sales, and other dead-end jobs which a man cannot raise or provide for a family properly, by doing. Attended Augusta Tech and Phillips College classes for 2 years to really play with the Networked computer systems, and held a 3.0 to 3.2+/4.0 GPA. From 1984 to 1987 -> Local Area Computer Tech and Basic/Cobol/FORTRAN/Pascal programming. Ran the Swamp Buzzard BBS (Fido-Net)360/5. Was a TRADOC Instructor at Ft. Gordon writing and teaching Satellite Maintenance, Operations, and Repair for the ANGSC-62. From 1985 to 1987 --> Set up the 1st Online Computer Sales site for the CSRA using Form-80. Held various IT Tech positions until I learned as much as possible about the systems I was playing with and got bored. Then shalt out new computer -network related technologies to stay interested. 3rd shift Sr. Systems Admin for FFMC that handled Data Processing for GA R&R + 21 other Banks . 1988 to 1993 --> IT & IT Security Consultant to US ARMY SFOD-D (Delta Force) at Ft. Bragg. YES ! that Delta Force. Earned DOD Civilian Service Medal for Panama & Desert Storm TCSM related civilian duties. Co-author of the 1990 FAQ of Computer Viruses 1994-1995 --> US TRANSCOM - Contracted IT Operations and IT Security Admin. USAF Hard Charger award for being 1 of 7 sites to block "Operation White Cap" exercise" 1995-1999 --> A Road Warrior, having traveled most of the major US Cities and Western Europe performing IT Network Evals, ITSEC and IT Forensics Investigations. Provided IT consulting and training to F-100 to F-1000 clients, various State and 3 letter Federal Agencies. (Pre-IPO's ISS, I.N.S., S3 Networks, and SSDS) Employee of the Year 3 times. Employee of the Quarter 4+ times. 1998-2022 --> International Principle Arch./ Director for the UNISYS Enterprise Security Solutions Practice.
