| About | Joyce Karen Costanza Carroll passed away on Tuesday April 14. Wife of John Carroll and daughter of Sam and the late Pat Costanza (of Hinsdale), and sister of Teri, Nancy (Davis), Amy (Marcotullio), Bob Costanza, Molly (Robinson), Karen Costanza, sister in-law of Maureen Schuler and favorite playful, and loving Aunt of nine nephews and nieces. Joyce graduated from Saint Isaac Jogues and Hinsdale Central, and earned a B.S. from the UW- Milwaukee and a B.S. in Nursing from Rush University (Chicago) in 1997. She worked as a nurse for the last 12 years at Rush Medical in Chicago also in California, Indiana, and recently at Penn Presbyterian and Albert Einstein Center in the Philadelphia area. She was currently working on a graduate degree. Everyone she knew was touched by her beautiful smile and her creative spirit. Joyce was talented and imaginative with jewelry, fashion and design, and enjoyed modeling her creations. She loved being outside and enjoying nature, running, swimming, or skiing whenever she could. Joyce was fun, lighthearted, and playful, and could be counted on to lighten any situation with her dry sense of humor. Joyce never forgot a birthday and was there whenever she was needed. She loved all living things, especially her family and friends, her patients, and of course, her beloved bunnies: Squeak Squeak, Sasha, Yoshi, and many others that went before her. Memorial services have been held.
