About	Javier Alfonso Arechiga, Age 63, of Calumet Township, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014 surrounded by his family at Southlake Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Indiana. Javier was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on August 12, 1951. He graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1969 and continued on to get a college degree from IUN. He enjoyed western movies, loved music, collected comic books, baseball and basketball cards. His favorite team was the Chicago White Sox. Javier was the only son of six children, of the late Alfonso Arechiga and his surviving mother, Aurora S. Arechiga. Javier is survived by his three children, of the late Alfonso Arechiga and his surviving mother, Aurora S. Arechiga. Javier is survived by his three children, Aren (Stephanie) Arechiga, Arek (Danielle) Arechiga, and Anthony (Jessica) Arechiga; his two grandchildren, Abigail and Andre; sisters, Martha Arechiga, attorney Dora Arechiga, Norma Garcia, Gloria Arechiga, Anna (Henry) Torres, Anna (Douglas) Richardson, and Binti (Shelley) Williams; eight nephews; and a host of great-nephews and great-nieces. Javier will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
