About	Jay Reeves (4/6/1950 – 5/16/2014) Jay Reeves - Architect, beloved and cherished husband, devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, golfer, fly fisherman, snow skier and travel enthusiast. Jay was born in Vancouver, WA on April 6, 1950. He passed away at home on May 16, 2014 after a prolonged fight with a brain tumor. Jay graduated from Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver, WA. in 1968. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters Degree in Architecture in 1975. He was a partner with the Sclater Partners Architects in Seattle. Jay was married to Bobbie for 40 years. They were blessed with 2 children - Kelly and Kurt. They resided in West Seattle's Fauntleroy neighborhood for more than 30 years. The family has many cherished memories of vacations in Sunriver, Mount Bachelor, Whistler Mountain, Hawaii, numerous trips to Europe and relaxing at their cottage on the Washington coast. Jay is survived by his wife Bobbie, daughter Kelly (Adrian), son Kurt (Hilary). He is also survived by his mother, Beth Reeves of Vancouver WA., his sister, Teresa Johnson (Steve) of Ridgefield WA., brother, Gary Reeves (Doris) of Arizona, and brother- and sister-in-law, Mark and Debbie Peterson of Seattle. Jay had 5 grandchildren whom he adored and loved - Alex, Esme, Gabriella, Zachary, and Carly. The family would like to express gratitude to Providence Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
