About	Doretta Sara Kohlscheen Kennedy Doretta Sara Kohlscheen Kennedy passed away December 13, 2013, in Pacifica, California. She was born in Buchanan, North Dakota in 1925 and graduated from Jamestown High School, Class of 1943. Doretta (Dottie) related many fond memories of her early days on the Hunt family farm near Vashti herding cattle on her beloved horse, Fly. Her parents were Helen Hunt Kohlscheen and Bill Kohlscheen, she was the last of her family--her dear sisters, Kathleen (Kaye) and Geraldine (Gerry) and her brother, Kenneth (Kenny) had all gone on before her. More recently, she attended the Jamestown High Class reunion in 2000, enjoyed herself immensely and renewed many old friendships. Her life in California since the end of WWII was full and blessed with many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who all will miss her gentle philosophies and her hot cocoa and toast. Let us remember her and her favorite Psalm, number 23:"...My cup overflows, surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
