Norma Mears, (formerly Howard)
I taught 2nd grade at Russell from 1964-1972. It was my first teaching job. Galen Bowman was the principal. Wonderful faculty. I have so many great memories of them. Elva Hintz was my mentor there. Loved our grade meetings with her and her distinctive Wisconsin accent. I still have the wooden pencil holder her father made for Elva's Christmas presents to all of us. So many more stories...
