About	Jerry Baber, 45, passed away on October 30, 2002 in an automobile accident just two days before the opening night for "Little Shop of Horrors" at his creation, Playhouse 90. A memorial service was held for him within the next week at Kempner High School's Auditorium. Former students and co workers worked together to create personal touches for the memorial: a "Three-Toed Sloth" skit, ETC style, Becca, Baber's "Annie" performed "the Rose," and the cast of "Little Shop of Horrors" contributed Baber's favorite song from the show, "Skid Row." The auditorium was packed to capacity and guests were weeping in the isles. A beautiful tribute to a fantastic teacher, mentor and friend.
