| About Me | I married a Coast Guardsman 2 years after high school. We lived in Alaska and in Massachusetts, Maine and Connecticut. It was a terrific life. We ended up retiring back in Astoria and I am glad that we did. I work as a hospice nurse and love my work. We raised two terrific sons. I am a grandma of a beautiful grandson. I had breast cancer 2 years ago and went through chemo, surgery, and radiation. Since then I cherish every moment of my life and my faith in God has blossomed.
