About	May 12, 1953 to January 21, 2012 Daryl left La Porte in 1969 for the Seattle area and later ended up in Vancouver, Canada. Daryl left his legacy by suing La Porte school district for kicking him out of school for peach fuzz above his upper lip. The lawsuit allowed fellow male students to grow their hair long and grow beards and mustaches. Before the lawsuit, female students had to wear dresses to school and then they were given the freedom to wear pants. Students were also granted "open campus". He was active in the film industry and was a social worker for the City of Vancouver. He enjoyed photography, swimming, riding his bike, and politics. He is survived by his two sons, Aaron and Adrian White and his two sisters, Dayna and Denise Trovato.
