About	Carolyn retired from a career with Continental Insurance Company in 1994. She and her close group of girlfriends called themselves "the herd," then traveled throughout Texas and England together, building memories never to be forgotten. She was a step-mom to three, grandmother to one precious granddaughter, Kaliana Claire Johnson. She and her husband Gary were married 26 years. She adored her family, especially her neices and nephews. She fought neuroendrocrine cancer for eleven months.
