About	Hello, I wanted to let the Lake Zurich High School Alumni site know that my mother - whose late husband James W. Norman taught industrial arts and coached at the high school - passed away Nov. 5. Her name was Bette Norman. Dad taught at the school from 1962 until his death in 1973. Many alums from that era will remember him and perhaps my mother. A short obituary for her follows. Thank you. Michael Norman (son) Norman, Elizabeth (Bette) Jean Age 90, of River Falls, Wis. Former Resident of Lake Zurich Beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many passed away peacefully Nov. 5 at Regions Hospital. Survived by her son Michael (Janell); daughters Nancy (Russel) Ball and Jane (Tom Lansworth) Norman; grandchildren James (Samah Fahmy) Norman, Adam Ball, Amelia Ball, Peter Lansworth, Emma Lansworth; and brother Richard J. (Donna) Hoffman. Preceded in death by husband James W. Norman, a former teacher and coach at Ela-Vernon High School (now Lake Zurich High School) her sister and parents. Also her cherished friends at Edgewater Apts., the River Falls Senior Center and those who read her column "From Where I Sit" in the ADRC News (formerly SCAN) of St. Croix County. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Fri., 11/11, Bakken-Young Funeral Home, 805 E. Division, River Falls. Funeral Sat., 11/12, 11 a.m. St. Bridget's Church, 211 E. Division St., River Falls. Burial at St. Bridget's Cemetery follows. Lunch in church hall. Memorials: River Falls Senior Center, St. Bridget's Church. Arrangements were by Bakken-Young Funeral Home, 805 E.
