About	Jimmie L. DeMien of Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana, USA Died 22 Jan 2017 at age 68 in Mishawaka, Indiana. Jimmie L. DeMien, 68, of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center–Mishawaka Campus. Jimmie was born February 25, 1948 in Plymouth, to the late Walter and Mary Lou (Heyde) DeMien. He graduated from LaVille High School in 1968, going to Vietnam immediately after graduation, serving in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1971. He married Virginia Downham on August 18, 1990; and she survives. Jimmie had worked at Modines, Indiana Heat and Price's Nursery. His hobbies include going to races and working outside. He loved and enjoyed grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jimmie was a third generation member and deacon at the North Salem Church of God. Surviving is his wife; Virginia, four daughters and three sons; Jimmie (Teresa) DeMien, Julie (Eric) Weedling, Jason (Mandy) DeMien, Tammy (Tim) Jesswien, Geannie (Jeremy) Arnett, and Krista Webb, fifteen grandchildren,three–great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother; Glen (Linda) DeMien, sister, Shirley (Tim)Pearson, sister-in-law; Edith (Mike) Shepard and many nieces and nephews. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Honors provided by members of the American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign Wars- Marshall County Post 1162 and D.A.V. were provided.
