About	Benjamin passed away April 16, 2006 at Battle Creek Health Systems, in Battle Creek, MI. Ben was born November 15, 1977, in Battle Creek to Mannie and Margaret Holmes, of Battle Creek. He graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 1995, and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Ben was employed by the Pactiv Corporation in Kalamazoo. Ben is preceded in death by his father, Mannie Holmes Jr.; maternal grandfather, A.G. Mixon; and paternal grandfather, Mannie Mosley. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Mixon (Holmes), of Kalamazoo; longtime girlfriend, Eve Childs, mother of his son, Alee Malik Holmes and daughter, Maycayla Ashley Holmes; 3 sisters, Tameka Smith, of Detroit, Lisa and Sheree Holmes, of Atlanta, GA; 3 brothers, Mannie Holmes III (Amy), Roger Williams Jr., and Dominique Mixon, of Kalamazoo; his maternal grandmother, Nannie Mixon, of Battle Creek; and paternal grandmother, Nelda Gaddis, of Albion, MI; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
