About	Sarah was valedictorian of the LT Class of 1961. She went on to a successful career as a poet, but died of a rare cancer in 2009. Her family has finished a novel Sarah had nearly completed; below her husband David writes. Dear family and friends, Sarah completed a draft of a novel, which she titled “Spend All You Have”, several months before her death from cancer in 2009. Working with a close friend, we’ve edited the manuscript with the goal of self-publishing the book on Amazon. I recently submitted the final edited version of the manuscript to CreateSpace, Amazon’s print-on-demand book service, and the book is now available on the Amazon website: https://www.amazon.com/Sarah-Getty/e/B001JS1AM4 As you’ll see on the website, Sarah’s three books of poetry, “The Land of Milk and Honey”, “Bring Me Her Heart” and “Clap Hands” also are available on Amazon, even though the first two are now out of print. As with my self-publication of “Clap Hands”, I plan to donate all royalties resulting from the sale of “Spend All You Have” to the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in Concord, MA (https://www.fws.gov/refuge/great_meadows/).
