About	David Mathias Obituary Published by Legacy on Nov. 12, 2022. Wyoming – David Scott Mathias, 69, of Wyoming, passed away at 7:19 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 in Wyoming. David was born on July 20, 1953 in Oak Park, Illinois to Harold and Mildred (Kellis) Mathias. Surviving are his former wife, best friend and companion, Naomi Christensen; two daughters, Cara (Pete) Czarnecki and Christine (Zach Lambeck) Mathias; three grandchildren, Faith and Emma Czarnecki and Caleb Lambeck; brother, Rick Mathias. Dave graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1971 and the College of DuPage with an Associate's Degree in 1973. He worked for over 25 years as a garbage collector for Crown Disposal. Dave enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, golfing, playing bridge with his best buddies, and researching his genealogy. His greatest love was visiting his children and grandchildren. Dave was well loved by all of his family and friends; he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
