Mark Bondeson

Class of 1972

Mark Bondeson received his doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 1993. Since then he has been working in the Veterans Health Administration healthcare system as a clinical psychologist and a clinical leader. He spent 20 years at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and has been at the Boise VA Medical Center for the past 4 years. As the Associate Chief of Staff for Behavioral Health, Dr. Bondeson is responsible for all mental health treatment at the Boise VA. In addition to his duties as the ACOS for Behavioral Health, for the past 18 months Dr. Bondeson has also been filling in as the acting Chief of Staff for the Medical Center. He is currently the only non-physician Chief of Staff in the VA healthcare system.
