I was recently invited to visit the kids in Mist Elementary, Mist, Oregpn, which was the setting for my most recent novel, Raptor Ravine. Here are the results from their teacher.

I am so glad those letters came! A little late, but…
It was an inspirational day! And you have already inspired several of the next great American writers! After you left we headed to lunch and there were five students with their notebooks at the lunch table with a pencil in one hand writing and a sandwich in the other hand! Then when they headed outside to play on such a sunny day…these individuals sat on the back steps and continued to write for their 30-moinute break. There were a couple of stories that continued on with their own adventures with Apollo!
Such a wonderful and satisfying day! I let the principal know that you would be willing to come visit other classrooms and teachers. I will also let the Middle and High school English teachers know about you. Your presentation was fantastic! You really held everyone’s attention. You sparked lots of thoughts in those young minds. Me too! I like to write, but never make too much time for it because I always worry sometimes what to write! But it can be anything and just a few minutes!
I haven’t downloaded the pictures yet, but I will send you what I have. Do take care. And Thank you again ever so much for your time and enthusiasm!
