Ricky Nichols
Class of 1986
Ricky is a fellow graduate of McIntosh High School. He was a solemn, quiet and easy to get along with. Anyone who knows him also knows that he has wears a smile where ever he goes. It is hard to tell when he has a bad day.
After leaving high school, Ricky joined the United States Air Force. He has faithfully served his country for 21 years. For the last six years he has also been a single parent to one son. He lost his wife after a short battle with cancer. Through his trials and struggles he has remained strong and dedicated to his beliefs in being a good father, a faithful friend, a dedicated soldier and ,most of all, a God-fearing man.
TSgt Nichols NCOIC HVAC stationed st Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi will be retiring from the Air Force next summer. His family and friends are both happy for him and proud of him. He will always have a place in our Hall of Fame any day of the week. It is because he has given over half of his life to the service of this great country, we felt he deserved a small place on the Wall of Fame at our Alma Mater.
