About	Dorothy F. Schutz, age 90, of Menomonie, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Dorothy Frances Husby was born April 26, 1918, to Louis and Bertha (Micheels) Husby in Menomonie. She graduated from Menomonie High School in 1936. As a young woman, Dorothy worked as a telephone operator and as a dental assistant. She married Herb D. Schutz on Aug. 26, 1941. Together they had two children. Dorothy will be remembered for her love of and dedication to her family and anyone who was in need. Her adult life was spent as a willing and able volunteer with Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Dunn County Historical Society, Dunn County Red Cross, Girl Scouts of America, Mabel Tainter Memorial Theater Guild, Menomonie Woman’s Club and P.E.O. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Herb of Menomonie; daughter, Patricia (Keith) Leiseth of Lake City, Minn.; son, Timothy (Jane) Schutz of Menomonie; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Coly Florin of Eau Claire; and many other relatives and friends.
