About	Daryl Dean Adams, born Dec. 14, 1945, in Kenosha, to Dean and Alice Petersen Adams, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa, after a short battle with cancer. Daryl grew up in Clay County Iowa until the age of 11 when the family moved to Menomonie. He called Menomonie home until he graduated from Menomonie High School in 1963. Most recently, he called Grand Junction, Iowa, home having lived and worked in many places during his life. Daryl is survived by his wife, Anne, of Grand Junction, Iowa; his children, Stephanie (Dan) Newstrom of Lino Lakes, Minn., Debi (Tod) VerBunker and Stacy (Andy) Drill both of New Richmond, Steven Adams of Las Vegas, Nev., David Adams of Washburn, and Jeff (Anna) Whitcomb of Ames, Iowa; his grandchildren, Alicia, Zack, Amanda, Jenny, and Heather Newstrom, Brooke, Tarra and Alec VerBunker, Paige, Eli, Matteus, Jonas and Natalia Drill and Braden Brown; his parents, Dean and Alice Adams, of Spooner; and three brothers, Joe (Karen) of Boyceville, and William and Peter Adams of Spooner. He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Adams; and his infant granddaughter, Ana Whitcomb. Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
